Graded density, high porosity, Spun flow HE is manufactured from thermally bonded polypropylene micro fibers offering high throughputs, low pressure loss, high dirt holding capacity and long on stream life. The bonded fiber construction minimizes any possibility of fiber migration and is rugged enough to resist particle shedding, even under pulse conditions. Consisting only of pure polypropylene, spun flow HE are compatible with most chemical processes and containing no additives, leachables or extractable are compliant with the requirements of FDA for food and beverage contact. Elements can be incinerated to trace ash reducing disposal costs.
